Big Life. Small Footprint.
Concept
One of MINI LIVING’s leading projects is The Global Village, which has been carried out in London, New York, Los Angeles and Beijing. The Global Village project assumes a minimum space of 15 m² for a possible residential area, and suggests an experimental Urban Cabin that brings out the functions of a space that can be shared by lowering the boundary between indoor and outdoor areas. Based on the Global Village project, MINI LIVING is also planning to complete Co-living Hub, the first inhabitable communal space by MINI LIVING in Shanghai, China, in June. Co-living Hub is an extension of Urban Cabin, which is a renovated paint factory to allow flexible use of six spaces for residential apartments, rental offices, and shared service spaces.
